Senior ERP System Administrator

Summary:

The Oracle ERP System Administrator is responsible for the application specific tasks pertaining to administration of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 environment.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with ERP team members Sysadmins/DBAs, Developers/Analysts to provide full accountability for the system
• Maintain and production support of the EBS 12.2 system running on Oracle Cloud
• EBS User management (UMX), AME, Security and Workflow administration
• Assist developers and analysts with application and database activities
• Monitor workflows, application related jobs and data replication activities
• Oracle EBS application SOD analysis for SOX and GxP compliance
• Installation, configuration, and deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2
• Work with developers and users to migrate configurations, objects, and code between different environments
• Responsible for cloning non-production EBS instances as needed
• Troubleshoot and help resolve Oracle application issues
• Apply patches to the EBS application and database
• Assist developers and end-users with application and database support, across various EBS instances
• Provides direction and coaching to other IT staff as needed
• Position will involve supporting Project teams composed of multi-disciplinary teams including business analysts, systems analysts, programmers, and client users

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years related experience supporting Oracle EBS R12.2, as a Sysadmin and DBA
• Strong experience with AME, Workflow Admin/Builder, XML Publisher, Forms/Reports
• Experience supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality modules
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Information Systems, or relevant experience/certifications
• Oracle certifications in EBS System Administration, App DBA and or OCI are preferred.
• Experience with related applications is preferred: NOETIX, GRC, Config Snapshot, Toad OEM and Oracle Cloud
• Oracle RDBMS 19c and WebLogic 12c, related utilities, and tools expertise preferred
• Knowledge in Oracle advanced features like RAC and Data Guard preferred
• UNIX/LINUX OS management and scripting is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of SQL including PL/SQL
• A good knowledge of the EBS application and database design
• Ability to perform both Oracle EBS and database performance tuning and monitoring
• Knowledge of all Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
• A good knowledge of Oracle security management
• Experience in code migration, functional changes, and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
