Summary
Work with Business, Business Systems and IT Business Intelligence (BI) teams to help deliver reporting solutions. Analyze and deliver projects and enhancements that impact reporting, both analytical and operational. Validate and translate high level business requirements into detailed reporting requirements and create functional specifications. Work closely with both BI and source system development teams; provide guidance on the development effort; and drive the integration and user acceptance testing for new and/or enhanced reporting solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s* degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical field, or foreign degree equivalent; and
- 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience designing and delivering reporting solutions to business customers, including 5 years of experience in the following: creating and implementing reporting strategy for ERP Systems like Oracle EBS; utilizing BI concepts; implementing end to end BI solutions starting with ODS layer to analytical layer to reporting front end solutions; working with front end reporting tools including Microstrategy, OBIEE, Tableau, and SSRS; utilizing ETL process and ETL tools including Informatica or Datastage; performing relational and dimensional data modeling and database design including concepts of star schema and snowflake schema design; utilizing SQL, including reading and writing complex queries from various data sources; working with ERP solutions (Oracle EBS or similar); performing project management and working with multiple stakeholders ranging from technical developers to business users; conducting User experience testing (UAT); experience with presentation of reporting solution and options to C-Level executives; and working with multiple databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata.
Experience can be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. *Employer will accept a Master’s degree or its foreign equivalent and 3 years of the above experience as the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree and three years of this experience.
